Responsibilities:
- Essential to the role is creativity , understanding and skills in delivering programs which meet the Early Years Learning Framework and interest in facilitating the growth and development of other educators.
- Develop strategies.
- Build good, open communication with children, families and Educators.
- Observe and record children’s growth, development and behaviour.
- Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe.
- Help develop teaching goals for the centre and its Educators.
- Engage with the Kindergarten children for a min. 7.5 hours per day.
You will need:
- Previous experience as ECT or similar role.
- Studying towards or hold Bachelor of Education/Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification deeming you as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or ‘actively working towards’.
- Current First Aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training.
- Holds a current Blue Card or alternatively an Exemption Card with QLD Teachers Registration.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Ability to demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent personal presentation.
